A Reflection on the Possibility of Religious Education

Abstract: The main purpose of this paper is to explain the possibility of

religious education. Accordingly, three major points of view about the relationship

between science and religion, including: A) the conflict between science and

religion, B) science and religion as two distinct phenomena, and C) religion

and science are complementary, are discussed. Consequently, based on evaluating

the identity of the religious science, it is elucidated that we can exploit a hypothesis

which can be tested through observation and experiment, and the resulted findings

can be titled as religious education.
