Design and Implementation of a Dynamic GIS for Navigation and Tracking Purposes

چکیده: This paper describes designing and implementing aspects of a Spatio-Temporal GIS for dynamic guidance of an autonomous vehicle. In this system, we have used new approach to detecting traffic jam without using prevalent tools that passed 82.5% our evaluations. In addition, after detecting congestion, the closest junction with respect to the vehicle position, streets direction and turns will be founding. Shortest path from this junction to the final destination will be determined based on time-distance functions in real-time. Then, the vehicle can change its route.
