description abstractIn this study, three new compounds containing two coordination complexes and one proton transferred salt of pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid N-oxide were prepared at different reaction conditions. Bases influences such as 1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2ˈ-bipyridine, and 9-aminoacridine on the structures were considered. The compounds (Hphen)2[Mn(pydco)2(H2O)2] (1), (H2,2ˈ-bipy)2[Mn(pydco)(H2O)2] (2), and (H9a-acr)(Hpydco) (3) (where H2pydco = pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid N-oxide, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2ˈ-bipy = 2,2ˈ-bipyridine and 9a-acr = 9-aminoacridine) were synthesized and characterized by physic-chemical methods such as elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, conductometry, and thermal gravimetric analyses (TGA). Coordination modes of pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid N-oxide to manganese(II) was also considered in comparison to pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid modes.en
