Pyrus pashia (Rosaceae),A new record for the flora of Iran

Abstract: Pyrus pashia is reported as a new recorded from NE Iran .This species is distinguished from its closest relative P. boissierana, by having more or less ovate, acuminate leaves and fruit size. An illustration of this species in fruit and flower and a geographical distribution map and also photographs of the two species are given.
