Abstract: from the perspective of shiite jurisprudence saying amen is not permitted in prayer while sunni jurists believe that is obligatory.shia jurists refer to some general and specific hadith to announce the prohibition; when the tendency to abomination, on concludes from integration of the related evidences about amen.the weak evidence of some narrations sunni references is the main reason for breach of theory.

this article tries to explan the evidence and debates from both perspectives and proved the rule of its prohibition based on the principle of the prayers detained status.
