Abstract: Klasea nana Ranjbar & Negaresh sp. nova (Asteraceae) is described and illustrated. It is confined to the Khorasan Province in northeastern Iran and closely resembles K. latifolia, but differs from it by having a shorter habit, smaller basal leaves, and arachnoid phyllaries.
