Abstract: Abstract: TiO2/SiO2 nanofibers were fabricated using an electrospinning method and sol-gel reaction. Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) polymers were used as matrix polymers for electrospinning process. The nanofibers were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV-Vis techniques. The influence of different amount of TiO2 and SiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) on UV-shielding performance of TiO2/SiO2 nanofibers was investigated
