| description abstract | A new complex of Hg(II) synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopies. Spectroscopic data shows the chemical formula of resulting complex is [(HgI2)28-AQ] (AQ: 8-aminoquinoline). Different noncovalent interactions such as ion-pairing and hydrogen bonding may play essential factors in the construction of extended networks in the crystal systems as can be observed in the title compound. | en |
