Reaplacing triticale silage treated with microbial additive and molasses with corn silage on

چکیده: This research was conducted to study the effect of replacing corn silage treated with microbial additive and molasses on performance of fattening male calves, In complete randomize design, twenty Brown Swiss male calves were used to examine the effects of replacing corn silage with triticale silage treated with microbial additive and molasses on their performances in 84 days. Cows fed TMR with forge to concentrate ratio of 30:70. Four experimental diets were included: 1) control, 2) triticale silage without additive, 3) triticale silage treated with molasses, 4) triticale silage treated with microbial additives. Comparing to control using triticale silage treated with molasses and microbial additive had not increased ADG, blood metabolite and feed intake significantly (P>0/05). Triticale silage treated with molasses improved the apparent dry matter digestibility significantly (P<0/05). Ruminal pH in diet 4 was significantly higher than others (P<0/05) Comparing to control using triticale silage treated with molasses and microbial additive had not increased feed conversion ratio and Body weight significantly (P>0/05). The time spent rumination and total chewing activity not affected by treatment, but time eating was influenced significantly by treatments (P<0/05). Theresults of this experiment indicated that replacing com silage with triticale silage treated with microbialadditive and molasses had not effect on performance of fattening male caves and triticale silage treated with molasses improved the apparent dry matter digestibility.
