description abstractIran’s culture is a mix of different cultural facet. All these facet influence Iranian’s behaviors and actions in different realms including workplace. The present article aims to investigate the relationship between different facets of Iran’s culture (religious, national, revolutionary and westernized facet) and work ethic of Iranians in the workplace and its different dimensions. The research population consists of all the employees of both public and private sectors in the city of Mashhad. Two-stage random cluster sampling method was used to select the sample. The sampling was conducted in nine different organizations. Questionnaire was used as the data collection tool. Research data were analyzed based on inferential statistics. The findings show that there is a positive correlation between three facets of culture (national, religious and revolutionary) and work ethic. Furthermore, a negative correlation was found between westernized facet of culture and work ethic. Organizations can use the findings of the present article to select and recruit the appropriate workforce. The finding can also help organizations improve their human resource development programs.en
