description abstractEnjoying much potential for learning and teaching, Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is regarded as a supplementary tool in L2 teaching and an approach to support learners to achieve excellence in their performance. Relying on its saliency, Pishghadam, Shayesteh, and Shapoori (2011) constructed and validated an NLP scale to examine the extent to which English language teachers employ NLP techniques in their practices. In accordance, this study attempted to revalidate the NLP scale through Rasch-rating scale model (RSM) and to underscore its importance in the field of language education. The WINSTEPS program was used to perform the Rasch measurement. Based on the analysis, items 5 and 9 were removed from the scale to maintain uni-dimensionality. To boot, given that the 5-category rating scale did not function satisfactorily, it was shifted to 3-category rating scale. At last, empirical findings were discussed, and implications were yielded in the context of English language teaching.en
