Thermal Bending Analysis of Moderately Thick Laminated Shell Panels with General Boundary Conditions Using Multi-Term Extended Kantorovich Method
سال
: 2012
چکیده: A semi-analytical solution for thermal bending analysis of laminated circular cylindrical panels is presented based on the multi-term extended Kantorovich method (MTEKM). The thermoelastic analysis of shell panels is provided by taking into account the transverse shear deformation and using the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) for moderately thick panels. Cylindrical panels with cross-ply lamination and general boundary conditions under sinusoidal distributed thermal load are investigated. The stresses and center deflection are determined to demonstrate the parametric effect of panel curvature ratio for various boundary conditions. The present results are compared with those obtained by other numerical and analytical methods and great agreement in all cases is shown.
