Aggregation of Aggregating models in GIS environment using Fuzzy Spatial MCDM

Abstract

Interest in MCDM increased as a sphere for spatial modeling in different applications. One of important application in GIS environment is the industrial states site selection which is relates to different and various criteria. In this paper we try to aggregate different criteria based on our application and some fuzzy aggregating models which are using in MCDM. The problem of appropriate common scale for representation of spatial objective and subjective criteria is solved using simple subset hood measurements. We propose some fuzzy methods such as α –cut and type 2 level 2 fuzzy models for aggregating criteria in GIS environment. As the result final assessment of compared spatial alternative is presented and implemented using fuzzy membership function and the results are evaluated for this application. <br><br> Keywords: Aggregation method, MCDM, Fuzzy, GIS
